Email Filtering
| Lexcom is pleased to introduce Postini - a free service that allows Lexcom Internet customers to protect their email inboxes from unwanted and annoying junk messages, as well as harmful and potentially damaging email viruses. By using this service, junk messages and messages containing viruses will be quarantined to your own personal Message Center on the Postini system, where you will be able to safely view these messages without any damage to your system. Periodic messages will be sent to your inbox informing you when messages have been quarantined, and giving you the appropriate link to your Message Center on the Postini system so that you may view these messages. If you decide that you do wish to receive a quarantined message, | ![]() |

| simply mark that message in your
Message Center to be delivered and it will
continue on its way to your normal inbox. Quarantined messages that you do not wish to
receive may be deleted, and will disappear to a trash folder, where they will be
removed after fourteen (14) days. Virus scanning is performed by Trend Micro, the leader of inline virus scanning. Virus definitions are updated regularly, ensuring that the most common and dangerous viruses are dealt with before coming in contact with your system. Postini is flexible, allowing users to control which messages, if any, will be filtered before reaching their inboxes. The service may be configured to filter messages based on various levels of Filter Sensitivity, based on an Approved Senders list (senders from whom messages are not to be filtered), or based on a Blocked Senders list (senders from whom all messages are to be quarantined). The service may also be turned off entirely. Lexcom Internet customers may currently use
Postini with Versions 4+ of both
Netscape
and Internet Explorer. Cookies must be enabled in your browser for
Postini to function.
